grid connection of distributed resources
1 Scope
This standard specifies the general principles and technical requirements that
shall be followed in the design, construction and operation of grid connection of
distributed resources.
This standard applies to the newly built, reconstructed, and extended
distributed power resources which are connected into the power grid via the 35
kV and below voltage level.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Distributed resources
It refers to the resources which are connected to the power grid of 35 kV
and below voltage level, located close to the user, AND mainly consumed
locally at 35 kV and below voltage level, which includes synchronous
generators, asynchronous generators, converters, and other types of
resources.
Note. It includes solar energy, natural gas, biomass energy, wind energy,
water energy, hydrogen energy, geothermal energy, ocean energy,
comprehensive utilization of resources (including coal mine gas power
generation), and energy storage and other types.
3.2
Converter
It refers to an electrical device for converting electrical power into one or
more types of electrical powers that is suitable for use by the power grid or
user.
Note. The converter includes rectifiers, inverters, AC converters, and DC
converters.
3.3
Converter-type power supply
It refers to the power supply which is connected to the power grid totally or
partially through the converter.
3.4
Synchronous-machine-type power supply
8 Safety
8.1 General requirements
8.1.1 The grounding mode of the distributed resource shall be compatible with
the grounding mode at the power distribution network side, AND it shall comply
with the requirements of personal and equipment safety, protection, and
coordination.
8.1.2 As for the distributed resources connected to the power grid through the
380 V voltage level, it shall install a switch at the power grid connection point
which is easy to operate, have obvious on/off indication, AND have the fault
current on/off capability.
8.1.3 As for the distributed resources connected to the power grid through the
10 (6) kV ~ 35 kV voltage level, it shall install a switching equipment at the
power grid connection point which is easy to operate, can be locked, have
apparent on/off point, have grounding function, AND have the fault current
on/off capability.
8.2 Safety signs
8.2.1 As for the distributed resources connected to the power grid through the
380 V voltage level, the dedicated low voltage switchgear which is connected
to the power supply and power grid shall have eye-catching signs. The signs
shall be indicated of such suggestive text and symbol as “warning”, “dual
power supply”, etc. The shape, color, size, and height of the sign shall follow
the requirements of GB 2894.
8.2.2 As for the distributed resources connected to the power grid through the
10 (6) kV ~ 35 kV voltage level, it shall follow the requirements of GB 2894, to
indicate such suggestive text and symbol as “be careful of electric shock”, etc.,
nearby the electric equipment and circuit.
8.3 Lightning protection and grounding
The lightning protection and grounding of the distributed resource shall comply
with the relevant requirements of GB 14050 and DL/T 621.
9 Relay protection and safety automatic device
9.1 General requirements
The protection of distributed resource shall comply with the requirements of
reliability, selectivity, sensitivity and speed, AND its technical conditions shall
comply with the requirements of GB/T 14285 and DL/T 584.
9.2 Voltage protection
shall be matched with the power distribution line side re-closure and safety
automatic device action time.
10 Communication and information
10.1 General requirements
10.1.1 As for the distributed resources connected to the power grid through the
380 V voltage level AND the distributed resources connected to the user side
through the 10 (6) kV voltage level, it may use such communication methods
as wireless, optical fiber, and carrier wave, etc. When using the wireless
communication method, it shall take the information communication safety
