Foreword
This document was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020
"Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of
standardizing documents".
This document replaces GB/T 33233-2016 "Water saving enterprises -- Electrolytic
aluminium industry". Compared with GB/T 33233-2016, in addition to the structural
adjustments and editorial modifications, the main technical changes in this document
are as follows:
a) Change basic requirements for water saving enterprises (see 4.2 of this Edition;
4.2 of Edition 2016);
b) Change assessment indicators for water intake. Add water indicators for deep
purification of electrolysis flue gas (see 4.4 of this Edition; 4.4 of Edition 2016);
c) Change assessment indicators for reuse rate (see 4.4 of this Edition; 4.4 of Edition
2016);
d) Changed assessment indicators for water leakage rate (see 4.4 of this Edition; 4.4
of Edition 2016);
e) Change the scoring instructions for water saving enterprise management
indicators (see A.2 of this Edition; A.2 of Edition 2016).
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be
the subject of patent rights. The issuing authority shall not be held responsible for
identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document was proposed by and shall be under the jurisdiction of National
Technical Committee on Water Saving of Standardization Administration of China

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 7119,
GB/T 18820, GB/T 18916.16 and GB/T 21534 as well as the followings apply.
4 Evaluation indicator system and requirements
4.1 The evaluation indicator system for water saving enterprises includes basic
requirements, management indicators and technical indicators.
4.2 The basic requirements for water saving enterprises are shown in Table 1.
