Burr height for stampings
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the limit value and detection of the burr height for
stampings.
This Standard applies to metal stampings that have certain requirements for
burr height.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.
2.1 Burr of stamping
The burr that is left on the section of the stamping when the sheet is cut or
blanked, which is shown in Figure 1.
Notes:
h -- burr height;
b -- material thickness of the stamping.

3 Limit value of the burr height
The limit value of the burr height for stampings is in accordance with the
regulations in Table 1.
