GB/T 22638.2 Test Methods for Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Foils - Part 2: conventional analytical elements and the suspected excessive unconventional analytical elements AS “sum of element content”.
4.1.2 The judgement of the analytical value is based on the round-off comparison method. The numerical rounding-off rules shall be carried out as stipulated in GB/T 8170. The rounding-off digits shall be consistent with the limit digits specified in the Table 6 of this Standard or GB/T 3190.
4.2 Size deviation
4.2.1 Size rounding-off
The measurement value of size is not allowed to be rounded-off; the judgment method of the limit value shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 8170.
4.2.2 Thickness and surface density
The thickness and surface density shall be measured as per the method stipulated in GB/T 22638.1.
4.2.3 Width
The width shall be measured by a tool with corresponding accuracy.
4.2.4 Split-layer and tower shape
It shall be measured by a measuring tool with guaranteed accuracy.
4.3 Surface wetting tension
The surface wetting tension shall be measured as per the method stipulated in GB/T 2263.8.4.
4.4 Joint
It shall be visually examined.
4.5 Pipe core
The size deviation of the pipe core shall be measured by the measuring tool with guaranteed accuracy; while the material of pipe core shall be guaranteed by the supplier; other items shall be visually examined.
4.6 Tensile mechanical properties at room temperature
The tensile mechanical properties test at room temperature shall be carried out as per the method stipulated in GB/T 16865.
4.7 Pinhole
The pinhole of the aluminum foil shall be tested as per the method stipulated in GB/T 22638.2.
4.8 Appearance quality
The appearance quality shall be visually examined. Arbitration shall be carried out under naturally scattered light.
5 Inspection Rules
5.1 Inspection and acceptance
5.1.1 The product shall be inspected by the supplier’s technical (or quality supervision) department to ensure that the product quality conform to the provisions of this Standard and purchasing list (or contract); and fill in the quality certificate. 5.1.2 The purchaser shall reinspect the received products according to the provisions of this Standard. When the reinspection result is inconsistent with the provisions of this Standard and ordering list (or contract), it shall be submitted to the supplier in the written form; and be settled through the negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser. If objections raise from the surface quality and size deviation, it shall be proposed within one month since the date of receipt of the product. For other objections, they shall be proposed within three months since the date of receipt of the product. If arbitration is required, it shall be carried out through entrusting to the unit approved by both supplier and purchaser; and take samples jointly from the purchaser. 5.2 Batching
The aluminum foils shall be delivered and accepted in batches. Each batch consists of the products with the same grade, the same state, the same size specification. 5.3 Weight
The product weight shall be checked.
5.4 Inspection items
Before leaving the factory, each batch of aluminum foils shall be inspected for the following items such as chemical composition (except Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr6+), size deviation, surface wetting tension, joint, pipe core, tensile mechanical properties at room temperature, pin hole, and appearance quality. The supplier shall monitor and analyze the Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr6+, which shall be tested once a year, ensuring they meet the standard requirements.
5.6.5 When the pipe core of any roll of aluminum foil is unqualified, then such roll of products is judged unqualified.
5.6.6 When the tensile mechanical properties at room temperature of any roll of aluminum foil is unqualified, take another double-volume aluminum foil from such batch of products (including the product represented by the unqualified specimen) (or on the product represented by the unqualified specimen) for repeated test, if all the repeated test results are qualified, then such batch of aluminum foil is judged qualified. If there is still unqualified item in the repeated test results, then such batch of aluminum foil is judged unqualified. The supplier and the purchaser agree to allow the supplier the check the aluminum foil roll by roll, only the qualified can be delivered. 5.6.7 When the pinhole of any roll of aluminum foil is unqualified, then such batch of aluminum foil is judged unqualified. However, the supplier is allowed to check the aluminum foil roll by roll, only the qualified can be delivered.
5.6.8 When the appearance quality of any roll of aluminum foil is unqualified, then such roll of aluminum foil is judged unqualified.
