5.3 Weights and Tolerances
5.3.1 Steel H piles shall be delivered according to their theoretical weight (the theoretical weight is calculated according to the density 7.85 g/cm3). It can also be indicated in a contract agreed upon by the seller and the buyer that steel H piles can also be delivered according to the actual weight.
5.3.2 The tolerances of the delivery weight of steel H piles shall meet the specifications of GB/T 11263. The tolerance is calculated as the difference between the actual weight and the theoretical weight divided by the theoretical weight, expressed as a percentage.
5.4 Example of marking
The marking of the specifications of steel H piles. expressed as HP and height H value ?? width B value ?? web thickness t1 value ?? flange thickness t2.
6 Technical Requirements
6.1 Designation and chemical composition
6.1.1 The designation and chemical composition (smelting analysis) of steel H piles shall meet the specifications of Table 3; and the carbon equivalent shall meet the products. if there is still one unqualified in the re-inspection results, then the batch of products is unqualified.
