1 Scope
This Standard specifies the types, requirements, test methods and signs of electric bicycle inner
tubes.
This Standard is applicable to model vulcanized inner tubes assembled with electric bicycle
tyres.

3 Types
The inner tubes are divided into two types in accordance with the materials used for the
manufacturing:
---Inner tubes made of natural rubber and mainly natural rubber are Type A;
---Inner tubes made of butyl rubber and mainly butyl rubber are Type B.
4 Requirements
4.1 Specifications and Sizes
The specifications and sizes of inner tubes shall comply with the matching requirements for
as a qualified product.
5.1.3 If there is an obvious air leakage, re-inflate it in accordance with the same conditions
mentioned above and immerse it in the water for 1 min. If there are more than one bubbles
emerging, it shall be deemed as disqualified. However, the valve part is allowed to be re-tested
in accordance with the above-mentioned method after the repair.
5.2 Tensile Test
The tensile test shall be carried out in accordance with the stipulations of GB/T 528. When
adopting Type 1 cutting knife to determine the elongation, in the center, base center, upper
model center and lower model center of the same segment of the inner tube non-connector,
along the peripheral direction of the tyre body, respectively take 1 specimen (as shown in Figure
1). Adopt the method of removing the maximum and minimum value for the test results, and
calculate in accordance with Formula (1):
