1 Scope
This Standard specifies the DC voltage rating requirements for electric vehicles’
high voltage system.
This Standard applies to pure electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles.

3 Terms and definitions
Terms and definitions determined by GB/T 19596, GB/T 2900.41, GB/T2900.50
and the following ones are applicable to this document.
3.1 Power battery system
Electric vehicle power supply system consisted of one or more than one battery
and the corresponding accessories (battery management system, high voltage
circuit, low voltage circuit, thermal management equipment and mechanical
assembly).
3.2 Electric machine and controller system
Drive and / or power generation units composed of motor [GB/T 19596-2004,
definition 3.2.1.1] and motor controller [GB/T 19596-2004, definition 3.2.1.2].
