GB/T 30984 “Solar glass” is currently divided into 3 parts.
- Part 1. Ultra-clear patterned glass;
- Part 2. Transparent conductive oxide coated glass;
- Part 3. Reflective glass mirror.
This section is Part 3 of GB/T 30984.
This part was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part was proposed by the China Federation of Building Materials.
This part shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization
Technical Committee for Industrial Glass and Special Glass (SAC/TC 447).

Solar glass - Part 3. Reflective glass mirror
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 30984 specifies the terms and definitions, classification and
common specifications, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules,
packaging, marking, storage and transportation of reflective glass mirrors.
This part applies to solar thermal reflective glass mirrors, condenser
photovoltaic mirrors and other types of mirrors can be implemented with
reference to this part.
2 Normative references

6.9 Neutral salt spray (NSS) test performance
It is tested in accordance with 7.10, after the test, the surface of the protective
coating of the monolithic reflective glass mirror test shall have no peeling,
cracks, and stripping, and the reflective layer shall not subject to discoloration
or turbidity. The appearance quality meets the requirements of Table 1, the edge
corrosion shall not be greater than 1.0 mm; the composite reflective glass mirror
shall have no open glue after the test, the part 1.0 m beyond the edge is free
from air bubble or coating loss, there is no change at the front surface of the
specimen during visual observation, the appearance quality shall comply with
the requirements in Table 1.
6.10 Copper accelerated acrylate spray (CASS) test performance
It is tested accordance with 7.11, after the test, the protective coating surface
of the monolithic reflective mirror shall be free from peeling, cracking, or
stripping, the reflective layer shall not discolor or turbid, the appearance quality
complies with the requirements of Table 1, the edge corrosion shall not be more
than 1.5 mm; the composite reflective glass mirror shall have no open glue after
the test, the part 1.5 m beyond the edge is free from air bubble or coating loss,
there is no change at the front surface of the specimen during visual observation,
the appearance quality shall comply with the requirements in Table 1.
6.11 Heat cycle resistance
It is tested in accordance with 7.12, after the test, the attenuation of the solar
hemispherical reflectance shall not exceed 1.5%. After the monolithic reflective
glass mirror test, the surface of the protective coating shall be free from peeling,
cracks, and stripping. The reflective layer shall not be discolored or turbid. The
appearance quality meets the requirements of Table 1, the edge corrosion shall
not exceed 1.5 mm; the composite reflective glass mirror shall have no open
glue after the test, the part 1.5 m beyond the edge is free from air bubble or
coating loss, there is no change at the front surface of the specimen during
visual observation, the appearance quality shall comply with the requirements
in Table 1.
6.12 Frost resistance
It is tested in accordance with 7.13 based on the conditions of use as negotiated
between the supplier and the purchaser, after the test, the attenuation of the
solar hemispherical reflectance shall not exceed 1.5%. After the monolithic
reflective glass mirror test, the surface of the protective coating shall be free
from peeling, cracks, and stripping. The reflective layer shall not be discolored
or turbid. The appearance quality meets the requirements of Table 1, the edge
corrosion shall not exceed 1.5 mm; the composite reflective glass mirror shall
have no open glue after the test, the part 1.5 m beyond the edge is free from
air bubble or coating loss, there is no change at the front surface of the
specimen during visual observation, the appearance quality shall comply with
the requirements in Table 1.
6.13 Damp heat resistance
It is tested in accordance with 7.14 based on the conditions of use as negotiated
between the supplier and the purchaser, after the test, the attenuation of the
solar hemispherical reflectance shall not exceed 1.5%. After the monolithic
reflective glass mirror test, the surface of the protective coating shall be free
from peeling, cracks, and stripping. The reflective layer shall not be discolored
or turbid. The appearance quality meets the requirements of Table 1, the edge

6.14 UV radiation resistance
It is tested in accordance with 7.15, after the test, the attenuation of the solar
hemispherical reflectance shall not exceed 1%. After the monolithic reflective
glass mirror test, the surface of the protective coating shall be free from peeling,
cracks, and stripping. The reflective layer shall not be discolored or turbid. The
appearance quality meets the requirements of Table 1, the edge corrosion shall
not exceed 1.5 mm; the composite reflective glass mirror shall have no open
glue after the test, the part 1.5 m beyond the edge is free from air bubble or
coating loss, there is no change at the front surface of the specimen during
visual observation, the appearance quality shall comply with the requirements
in Table 1.
6.15 Wear resistance
6.15.1 Mirror surface wear resistance
It is tested in accordance with 7.16.1, the solar hemispherical reflectance
change caused by abrasion after the test shall not exceed 1.0%.
6.15.2 Protective layer wear resistance
For monolithic reflective glass mirror, one piece is taken to perform test in
accordance with 7.16.2, after the test, the primer shall not be exposed, the
protective layer appearance shall be free from obvious change during visual
observation.
6.16 Protective layer adhesion
A sample that has a size of 300 mm x 300 mm prepared in the same material
as the product and under the same process conditions is used as a specimen,
the number is 3 pieces. It is tested in accordance with the provisions of GB/T
5137.3.
7.9 Condensate test performance
7.9.1 Specimen
A sample that has a size of at least 100 mm×70 mm prepared in the same
material as the product and under the same process conditions is used as a
specimen, the number is 3 pieces.
7.9.2 Test procedure
It is tested in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 13893, the test time is 480
h.
