Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 3089-1982 ?€?Thinnest-wall acid resistant
seamless tubes of stainless steel?€?. Compared with GB/T 3089-1982, the main changes of this standard are as follows.
- CHANGE the standard name from ?€?Thinnest-wall acid resistant seamless
tubes of stainless steel?€? into ?€?Thinnest-wall seamless tubes of stainless steel?€?;
- CHANGE the scope of application from the original ?€?spinning or cold rolling (pulling)?€? into ?€?spinning or cold rolling?€?;
- ADD the ?€?order content?€?;
- DELETE the provisions on using mandrel to control the inner diameter and allowable deviation; ADD the allowable deviation of the outer diameter; - MODIFY the normal length range of the steel pipe from 0.5 m ~ 6 m into 800 mm ~ 6000 mm;
- PRESENT the steel designation, series number and unified numerical
code in accordance with the method of GB/T 20878; MODIFY the chemical
compositions accordingly;
- CANCEL two designations. 1Cr18Ni9Ti and 1Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti;
- ADD the designations 06Cr19Ni10 (0Cr18Ni9) and 06Cr18Ni11Ti;
- MODIFY the content of Ni and Mo in the designations 022Cr17Ni12Mo2
(00Cr17Ni14Mo2);
- CHANGE the designation 1Cr18Ni12Mo3Ti into 06Cr17Ni12Mo2Ti

1 Scope
This standard specifies the size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of thinnest-wall seamless tubes of stainless steel.
This standard applies to spinning or cold-rolling stainless steel thinnest-wall seamless tubes.

As for the steel pipe of outer diameter more than 32.4 mm OR not supplied under heat treatment state, there is no requirement for curvature.
4.3 Shape
As for the shape of the steel pipe, it is not allowed for twisting.
4.4 Delivery weight
The steel pipe is delivered in actual weight.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Steel designation and chemical composition
5.1.1 The steel designation and chemical composition (smelting analysis) shall comply with the requirements in Table 4. The unified digital code of the steel and the representation of the new designation shall be in accordance with GB/T 20878.

7.3 Sampling number
The number of samples for each performance test of each batch of steel pipes shall comply with the requirements in Table 6.
7.4 Re-inspection and judgment rules
The re-inspection and judgment of the steel pipe shall comply with the
requirements of GB/T 2102.
8 Packaging, marking and quality certificate
8.1 Steel pipe shall be packaged in piece OR tied into a small bundle, placed into plastic bag, AND packaged. The packaging box shall be lined with
moisture-proof wax paper and foam or soft material filling. There shall be signs inside and outside the packaging box, indicating the supplier name,
designation, furnace number and batch number, specifications and quantity, and packaging date.
8.2 The quality certificate of the steel pipe shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 2102.
