Scope

This Standard specifies the requirements of the mechanical testing, sampling location
and sample preparation of the section steel, steel bar, steel plate and steel tube
defined in GB/T 15574. Through negotiation on both sides, this Standard may also
adopt other metal products for sampling.
If the product standard or the mutual agreement has other regulations on the
sampling, it shall execute that regulations.
