1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test
methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage
of paper diapers, diaper care and paper pads (care pads) for infants and adults.
This standard is applicable to disposable paper diapers, diaper care and paper
pads (care pads) made of outer covering materials, built-in absorbent layers,
and leak-proof bottom films.

the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable
to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including
all the amendments) are applicable to this standard.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Topsheet run-off
Delivery moisture, ≤ % 10.0
a Products with special functions (such as training for toilets, etc.) do not subject to rewet assessment.
5.2 The paper diapers, diaper care and paper pads (care pads) shall be clean,
no color fading, intact in leak-proof bottom film, no hard blocks, no damage, etc.,
soft to the touch, firm sealing; the elastic band is bonded evenly, the fixation
stick position complies with the use requirements; during the penetration
performance test, the inbuilt absorption layer material shall not leak out at a
large amount.
5.3 The sanitary indicators of paper diapers, diaper care and paper pads (care
pads) shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB 15979.
5.4 Raw materials used in paper diapers, diaper care and paper pads (care

polymer shall meet the requirements of GB/T 22905. Recycled materials shall
not be used to produce paper diapers, diaper care and paper pads (care pads).
6 Test methods
6.1 Preparation of specimen
The specimen shall be treated before test at the temperature and humidity
conditions in accordance with GB/T 10739 for at least 2 h, and be tested under
this conditions of temperature and humidity.
6.2 Full length, full width, strip mass deviation
6.2.1 Full length deviation
Use the ruler to measure the full length of the original specimen length
(measured from the longest part of the specimen), and the number of each
specimen of the same specification is 6, accurate to 1 mm, respectively
calculate the percentage of the difference between the maximum, minimum
width of the 6 specimens and the average value of the 6 specimens to its
average value, which is used as the determination result of the full length
deviation of this type of specimen, accurate to 1%.
6.2.2 Full width deviation
Use the ruler to measure the full width of the original specimen width (measured
from the narrowest part of the specimen), and the number of each specimen of
the same specification is 6, accurate to 1 mm, respectively calculate the
percentage of the difference between the maximum, minimum width of the 6
specimens and the average value of the 6 specimens to its average value,
which is used as the determination result of the full width deviation of this type
7 Inspection rules
7.1 Inspection-lot provisions
The same category of products made by same raw materials, same processes,
and same specifications in the quantity of one delivery are used as a batch; the
unit of the submitted inspection specimen is piece; the number of each batch is
not more than 5000 pieces.
7.2 Sampling methods
From a batch of products, randomly take 3 sets of products, take 3 packages
(10 pieces per package) from each set, and a total of 9 packages of samples
are taken. In which, two packages of them are used for microbiological test;
four packages of them for microbiological retest; and three packages of them
for other performance tests.
7.3 Decision rules
When the inspection product meets all the technical requirements of clause 5
of this standard, it is judged to be qualified; when any of these inspection items
fails, it is judged to be unqualified.

A.1.1.8 Standard clamp. φ100 mm, mass is (1.2 ± 0.002) kg (can produce a
pressure of 1.5 kPa).
A.1.1.9 Stopwatch. Accuracy is 0.01 s.
A.1.2 Test solution
A.1.2.1 0.9% sodium chloride solution. add 9.0 g of sodium chloride into 1000
mL of distilled water to prepare this solution.
A.2 Determination of topsheet run-off
A.2.1 Test procedure
A.2.1.1 Put the tester (A.1.1.2) in the horizontal position first, adjust the angle
between the upper panel and the lower panel to (30 ± 2)°, then adjust the lower
opening of the funnel (A.1.1.3), such that the projection of the center point is
(200 ± 2) mm from the lower edge of the tester oblique panel, and the lower
opening of the funnel faces the operator. Pour the appropriate amount of test
solution (A.1.2) into the funnel, allow the funnel to wet, use the test solution to
rinse the funnel twice.
A.2.1.2 Take a specimen, cut off the elastic bands on both sides (including the
three-dimensional retaining edge), then place the specimen on the inclined
panel of the tester flatly, to make the use surface face upwards and the rear
part of the specimen rest above the inclined panel, respectively measure 100
mm from both ends to the center point of the in-built absorbent layer of the
specimen as the test area, fold the extended part towards the upper part and
bottom part of the inclined panel, then use four stainless steel cl...
