3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1 Ground granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag powder
The powder with certain fineness mainly-ground the granulated electric furnace
phosphorus slag, together with small amount of gypsum; which is called ground
granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag powder, hereinafter referred to as
phosphorous slag powder.
4 Compositions and Materials
4.1 Granulated electric furnace phosphorous slag
It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 6645.
4.2 Gypsum
It shall meet the requirements for Grade-G or Grade-M Class-2 (inclusive) gypsum or
mixed gypsum specified in GB/T 5483.
4.3 Grinding aid
It shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 26748; the amount of its addition shall not
exceed 0.5% total mass of the phosphorus slag powder.
5 Technical Requirements
The phosphorus slag powder shall conform to the technical specifications in Table 1.
2008.
6.7 Radioactivity
The test shall be performed as required in GB 6566.
7 Inspection Rules
7.1 Numbering and sampling
7.1.1 Numbering
The phosphorus slag powder shall be numbered and sampled at the same level before
leaving the factory. Each number is a sampling unit. The numbering of phosphorus
slag powder is subject to the annual output of single-line production as follows.
60×104t above, no more than 2000t shall be a number;
30×104t ~ 60×104t, no more than 1000t shall be a number;
10×104t ~ 30×104t, no more than 600t shall be a number;
10×104t below, no more than 200t shall be a number.
When the capacity of the bulk transportation tool exceeds the exit-factory numbering
tonnages specified by such factory, allow the amount of such number to exceed the
exit-factory tonnages specified by such factory.
7.1.2 Sampling method
The sampling shall be performed as per the provisions of GB/T 12573; the sampling
shall be representative and continuous; or an equal amount of samples may be taken
in more than 20 positions with total quantity of 20kg. The sample shall be mixed evenly;
take 5kg of phosphorus slag powder shall be taken out by the quarter method.
7.2 Exit-factory and exit-factory inspection items
7.2.1 The phosphorus slag powder can leave the factory only when it is confirmed that
its various technical indicators and package meet the relevant requirements.
7.2.2 The exit-factory inspection items mainly include density, specific surface area, 7d
and 28d activity indicators, fluidity ratio, moisture content, sulfur trioxide content,
phosphorus pentoxide content, alkali content (if added gypsum, then the exit-factory
inspection items also include the ignition loss).
7.3 Type inspection
7.5.2 When the acceptance is based on the test results of the physical sample, the
supplier and the purchaser shall jointly take sample sand seal the products before
delivery or on the place of delivery. The sample method shall be performed as per the
requirements of GB/T 12573; the sampling quantity is 10kg; which is divided into two
equal parts. One is kept by the supplier for 40d; the other is inspected as per the items
and methods specified in this Standard.
Within 40d, if the purchaser’s inspection considers that the product quality does not
meet the requirements of this Standard; while the supplier is doubt about it; then the
two parties shall send another sample held by the supplier to the provincial or above-
provincial-level building material product quality supervision and inspection agency
approved by the state for arbitration test.
7.5.3 When the acceptance is based on the test report of the manufacturer with the
same number of phosphorus slag powder, the purchaser (or entrust the supplier) shall
take sample from the same number of phosphorus slag powder before or during the
delivery; after sealing by the two parties, it shall be stored for 3 months.
Within 3 months, if the purchaser is doubt about the quality of the phosphorus slag
powder, the supplier and the purchaser shall send the sample jointly sealed by the two
parties to the provincial or above-provincial-level building material product quality
supervision and inspection agency approved by the state for arbitration test.
8 Package, Marking, Transportation and Storage
8.1 Package
Phosphorus slag powder can be packed in bags or in bulk. The net content per bag is
50kg; shall be no less than 99% of the marking mass; randomly select 20 bags, the
total mass of which shall be no less than 1000kg (including the packaging bag); other
packaging modes shall be determined by the supplier and the purchaser through
negotiation.
The packaging bag of the phosphorus slag powder shall conform to the provisions of
GB 9774.
8.2 Marking
The packaging bag shall be clearly marked with the following information such as
manufacturer name, product name, product grade, packaging date and number. The
phosphorus slag power mixed with gypsum shall be marked with the words “gypsum-
added”. When it is packed in bulk, the card with the same contents as the packed in
bag shall be provided.
