1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test
methods, inspection rules and marking, transport and storage, etc., for the
magnesium alloy castings for automotive wheels.
This standard applies to magnesium alloy castings for automotive wheels.

3.1 Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Magnesium alloy castings for automotive wheels
5 Test methods
5.1 Material inspection
5.1.1 The chemical composition analysis shall be conducted in accordance with
the relevant provisions of GB/T 26654.
5.1.2 The mechanical properties test methods shall be conducted in
accordance with the provisions of GB/T 228 and GB/T 231.1.
5.2 Surface quality inspection
CONDUCT visual inspection against the standard sample wheel.
5.3 Internal quality inspection
The internal quality inspection of wheel castings shall be conducted in
accordance with the provisions of GB/T 13820.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Exfactory inspection
6.1.1 The exfactory inspection items are 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4.
6.1.2 Each piece of wheel castings shall be subjected to exfactory inspection,
AND if one item fails to reach to requirements, the corresponding casting shall
be considered as unqualified.
6.2 Batching
The castings of the same heat are considered as one batch.
6.3 Principles for sampling and determination
The items which must be inspected as specified will be subjected to inspection
one by one; the items which must be spot inspected as specified will be subject
to spot inspection, during which 3 pieces will be randomly sampled from the
same batch of castings for inspection, if one or more items are disqualified,
multiple samples may be taken for re-inspection; if there is still unqualified items,
this batch of wheel castings are judged as disqualified.
