Scope

1.1 This method uses the boiling ethanol to extract the organic acid from the sample; then
uses potassium hydroxide ethanol solution to titrate.
1.2 The milligram-number of potassium hydroxide that is required to neutralize 100 ml of
petroleum product is called acidity.
