This Standard specifies general type wire thread inserts with symmetrical profile, of which the nominal diameter of the thread is 2mm~39mm, and the thread pitch is 0.4mm~4mm. The wire thread insert that is specified in this Part is screwed in the internal thread for 6H specified in GB/T 24425.5. The tolerance zone of the formed internal thread is 6H (GB/T 197).
