Scope

This Standard specifies the inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry for the
determination of aluminum, iron, magnesium and silicon contents in chromium ores and
concentrates.
This Standard is applicable to the determination of aluminum, iron, magnesium and silicon
contents in chromium ores and concentrates. The ranges of element contents to be determined
are shown in Table 1.
