1 Scope
This document specifies the materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage of shower for bathing (hereinafter referred to as shower).
This document is applicable to showers, which have dynamic pressures of 0.05 MPa ~ 0.50 MPa and water temperatures of 4 ??C ~ 70 ??C.

The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard through reference in this Standard. For the dated references, the subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this Standard; however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Standard are encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document applies.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Shower
the B-level accuracy requirements in GB/T 7307. Special threads as per contract requirements.
5.3 Safety performance
5.3.1 Conduct the test in accordance with 6.3.1. Each component of the shower shall be flexible; the shower shall have no obvious deformation; its water jet pattern shall not change.
5.3.2 Conduct the test in accordance with 6.3.2. Each component of the shower shall be flexible; the shower head shall have no obvious deformation; its water jet pattern shall not change.
5.4 Surface coating and plating quality
5.4.1 Resistance to rapid cooling and heating
The test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of 6.4.1. The surface coating and plating shall be free of damage.
5.4.2 Corrosion resistance
Carry out salt spray test in accordance with the provisions of 6.4.2. The surface appearance grade of surface coating and electroplating shall meet the requirements of level 9 in GB/T 6461.
5.4.3 Coating adhesion strength
The test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of 6.4.3. It shall meet the requirements of level 1.
5.5 Sealing performance
Carry out the test in accordance with the provisions of 6.5. There shall be no leakage at the connection parts of each component.
5.6 Mechanical strength
Carry out test in accordance with 6.6. There shall be no cracks, visible permanent deformation or other damage. After test, it shall meet the requirements of 5.5. 5.7 Hot and cold fatigue resistance
The test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of 6.7. There shall be no leakage, cracks, visible permanent deformation or functional failure. After test, it shall meet the requirements of 5.5.
5.8 Flow
an anti-siphon function. The anti-siphon performance is tested, in accordance with the provisions of 6.14; there is no visible water level in the transparent tube. 5.15 Ball joint swing performance
For movable head showers or shower heads with ball connections, this test shall be carried out. After 10000 cycles in accordance with the provisions of 6.15, there shall be no leakage at the ball connection part and shall meet the requirements of 5.19. 5.16 Average jet angle
The test is carried out in accordance with the provisions of 6.16. The range of the average jet angle shall be 0?? ??? ?? ??? 8??. This item is only available if contractually required.
5.17 Spray uniformity
Carry out the test according to the provisions of 6.17. Within the range of 120 mm diameter of the water collection pan, the volume of water received shall not be greater than 70% and not less than 40% of the total water volume. Within the range of 420 mm diameter of the water collection pan, the volume of water received shall not be less than 95% of the total water volume. Spray uniformity test is only performed, when required by contract.
Note: Applicable to products whose maximum outer diameter of the spray holes does not exceed 160 mm.
5.18 Function switching force
For multi-functional showers, when tested in accordance with the provisions of 6.18, the function switching force or torque shall not be greater than 45 N or 1.7 N??m. For products designed for people with disabilities, before and after the life test, the function switching force or torque shall not be greater than 22 N.
5.19 Ball head swing force
For movable head showers with ball connections, the ball head swing force shall be tested in accordance with the provisions of 6.19 and shall not exceed 45 N. 5.20 Drop test
Handheld showers are tested in accordance with the provisions of 6.20. Deformation or cracks that affect safety and normal operation are not allowed. Parts that are separated or fell off during the test can be reinstalled and the sample shall maintain normal functions. After the test, the handheld shower shall comply with the requirements of 5.5. 5.21 Jet force
When tested in accordance with the provisions of 6.21, the average jet force of the handheld shower shall not be less than 0.85 N. If the shower has multiple water jet methods, the maximum average jet force will be used.
5.22 Head shower burst pressure test
For head showers (except showers with suction function), the test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of 6.22. There shall be no leakage or damage. 6 Test methods
6.1 Appearance quality test method
Make a visual inspection, at a distance of 600 mm ?? 50 mm from the shower, under the lighting conditions of 300 lx ?? 20 lx.
6.2 Pipe thread accuracy test method
The pipe thread accuracy of the external connection part of the shower is measured by a thread gauge of corresponding accuracy.
6.3 Safety performance test
6.3.1 Install the shower in use state. At the water temperature at 42 ??C ?? 2 ??C, the dynamic pressure at 0.10 MPa ?? 0.02 MPa and the dynamic pressure at 0.30 MPa ?? 0.02 MPa respectively, after stable use for 10 min ?? 10 s, check each component of shower by hand, to see whether they are flexible; check whether the various water jet modes of the shower have changed.
6.3.2 Install the shower head in use state. At the water temperature at 70 ??C ?? 2 ??C, the dynamic pressure at 0.05 MPa ?? 0.02 MPa and the dynamic pressure at 0.50 MPa ?? 0.02 MPa respectively, after stable use for 10 min ?? 10 s, check each component of shower by hand, to see whether they are flexible; check whether there is obvious deformation of the shower, whether the various water jet modes of the shower have changed.
6.4 Surface coating and plating quality test methods
6.4.1 Rapid cooling and heating performance test
The testing steps for quality requirements for surface coating and plating of plastic parts are as follows:
a) Place the specimen in an oven, which has a temperature of 70 ??C ?? 2 ??C; keep it for 30 min;
b) Immediately place the specimen at a temperature of 15 ??C ~ 20 ??C for 15 minutes; Type inspection includes other items except 5.16 and 5.17 in the technical requirements in Chapter 5 of this document.
7.3.2 Inspection conditions
Type inspection shall be carried out, when one of the following conditions exists: a) During trial production, type finalization, appraisal of new products; b) After formal production, there are major changes in structure, materials, processes that may affect product quality;
c) When the product has been out of production for more than half a year and resumes production;
d) When the exit-factory inspection results are significantly different from the last type inspection results;
e) Under normal circumstances, this shall be done at least once a year. 7.3.3 Group-batching rules and sampling plans
7.3.3.1 Group-batching
Products of the same category, variety, model will be counted as one batch for every 500 pieces; if it is less than 500 pieces, it will be counted as one batch. 7.3.3.2 Sampling method
Samples are randomly selected from submitted qualified batches.
7.3.3.3 Judgement rules
The inspection items and failure categories of type inspection are as shown in Table 4. If there is a contract requirement, it can be determined through negotiation, between the parties to the contract.
If all the required items are qualified after inspection, then the batch of products is qualified. If one or more items are unqualified, the batch of products is judged to be unqualified.

f) Adjust the temperature of the water supply system, so that the water supply temperature is 20 ??C ?? 3 ??C higher than the ambient temperature;
g) Open the water supply system, to let hot water flow through the shower; adjust the dynamic pressure of the water supply to 0.25 MPa ?? 0.01 MPa; keep it stable for no less than 1 minute;
h) Record the temperature value after the thermometer stabilizes;
i) Place the temperature probe of the temperature measuring device horizontally at 750 mm ?? 10 mm below the shower face plate; choose a suitable position, to make the temperature reach the maximum value; record the temperature value after the thermometer stabilizes;
j) Place the temperature measuring device in the position of step d); record the temperature value after the thermometer stabilizes;
k) If the difference between the two temperature values, which are measured at 150 mm ?? 10 mm directly below the shower face plate, is greater than 0.5 ??C, repeat steps g) ~ j);
l) If the difference between the two temperature values, which are measured at 150 mm ?? 10 mm directly below the shower face plate, is not greater than 0.5 ??C, calculate the temperature difference in steps h) ~ i), which is the measured temperature drop.
