This Standard shall be used together with GB 4706.11 Household and similar electrical appliances-Safety - Particular requirements for instantaneous water heaters, GB 4706.12 Safety of household and similar electrical appliances - Particular requirements for storage water heaters and GB 4706.32 Household and similar electrical appliances. Safety. Particular requirements for heat pumps, air-conditioners and dehumidifiers. Annex A of this Standard
inequivalently uses JRA 4050-2007 Household heat pump water heater.
Annex A of this Standard is informative.

1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test method, inspection rules, marks, transport, storage of heat pump water heater for household and similar application (hereinafter referred to as the heat pump water heater).
This Standard is applicable to heat pump water heater for household and similar application that is driven by electric motor, uses steam compression
refrigeration cycle, takes air or water as heat source, with a purpose of providing hot water. The heat pump water heater of other heat sources or uses shall refer to this for use.
This Standard is not applicable to heat pump water heater for industrial use. 2 Normative references

4 Classification
4.1 Type
4.1.1 Classified according to heat source method
a) air-source heat pump water heater
b) water-source heat pump water heater
4.1.2 Classified according to power type
a) single-phase power type (220V, 50Hz)
b) three-phase power type (380V, 50Hz)
4.1.3 Classified according to heating method
a) instantaneous heat pump water heater
b) circulating heat pump water heater
c) static heat pump water heater
4.1.4 Classified according to structure type
be consistent with relevant national regulations and the corresponding
standards.
5.1.4 During the operation of the heat pump water heater, the temperature of the compressor exhaust shall not exceed the requirements of the compressor factory.
5.1.5 For the heat pump water heater that uses CO2 as refrigerant, the
technical requirements and test methods shall refer to Annex A.
5.2 Structural requirements
5.2.1 The fasteners and other components of the heat pump water heater
shall be consistent with national standards. Its wearing parts shall be easy to replace.
5.2.2 If the inlet and outlet water pipes of the heat pump water heater are directly mounted in the sub-water supply system, the inlet and outlet pipes shall meet the requirements of national standards.
5.2.3 The installation of each component of the heat pump water heater host shall be solid and reliable. The compressor shall have anti-vibration measures. There shall be no abnormal noise when the heat pump water heater is running. There shall be no friction or collision between piping and components. The components such as electromagnetic reversing valve of the heat pump water heater shall act acutely, reliably.
5.2.4 Auxiliary electrical heating elements in the heat pump water heater shall be securely fixed or placed separately to prevent damage during normal
transport and service. The pipes of auxiliary electrical heating elements shall have sufficient corrosion resistance. Its corrosion resistance shall not be lower than the stainless steel of model 0Cr18Ni9.
5.2.5 The heat pump water heater shall have measures to prevent freezing. 5.3 Weatherability requirements
After 6.14 test, the heat pump water heater shall have good weathering
properties.
a) Plating parts and fasteners shall be subjected to anti-corrosion treatment. The surface shall be smooth and fine, in uniform color, without obvious spots, pinholes, bubbles, peeling or other defects.
b) The coating part has a strong coating and a good appearance. There shall be no visible air bubbles, flow marks, leaks, exposed primer and unwanted wrinkles or other damages. The coating off is not greater than 2 levels. After the 6.14.4 test for outdoor unit partial coating, the coating gloss loss 5.6.3 Minimum operation
When testing in the 6.7 method, the safety protection components shall not operate and cause the heat pump water heater to stop operating.
The coefficient of performance (COP) under this test condition calculated in the 6.3.3 method shall not be lower than the indicated value of coefficient of performance (COP) of the enterprise under the minimum operation conditions. 5.6.4 Low temperature operation
When testing in the 6.8 method, the safety protection components shall not operate and cause the heat pump water heater to stop operating.
5.6.5 Variable working conditions
Carry out the test according to the 6.9 method and draw performance graphs or tables.
5.7 Hot water storage performance
The hot water storage performance of the heat pump water heater shall be described as follows.
5.7.1 Insulation performance
When the insulation performance is tested according to the 6.10 method, the temperature of hot water after 24h placement must comply with the content described in Table 4.
