Scope

This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification,
technical requirements, test method, inspection rules, marks, transport, storage
of heat pump water heater for household and similar application (hereinafter
referred to as the heat pump water heater).
This Standard is applicable to heat pump water heater for household and similar
application that is driven by electric motor, uses steam compression
refrigeration cycle, takes air or water as heat source, with a purpose of providing
hot water. The heat pump water heater of other heat sources or uses shall refer
to this for use.
This Standard is not applicable to heat pump water heater for industrial use.
