4.1 Performance indicators
The performance indicators of jelly candle shall meet the requirements of Table 1.
requirements. The final test result is the average of the test results of 4 candles. 5.4 Thermal stability
5.4.1 Instruments
Constant temperature incubator: accuracy is ??1??C.
5.4.2 Test steps
Take 4 samples. Place them flat in a thermostat at 35??C??1??C. Maintain 24h. Take out and recover to room temperature. Observe for discoloration and deformation.
5.5 Light stability
5.5.1 Instruments
a) Light stability test box: A closed UV light box with heat dissipation device; b) Ultraviolet lamp: wavelength 365nm, illuminance 500??W/cm2 ~
600??W/cm2.
5.5.2 Test steps
Take 4 samples. Lay flat in the light stability test box, 200mm away from the UV lamp directly below. Maintain 48h. Take out and observe for discoloration. 5.6 Product placement stability
Take 4 samples. Put one by one on an inclined plane of 10??. Observe whether there is any overturning phenomenon at any placement angle.
5.7 Combustion performance
Take 4 samples. At room temperature 15??C~25??C, without strong air convection, light the candle for 15 minutes and observe its burning situation, until it is completely extinguished. Use a steel ruler to measure the flame height. Take the maximum of the test results among the 4 candles as the final test result. 5.8 Safety
Visually inspect the whole process of 5.7 and observe whether the container is broken.
5.9 Burning afterglow
Take 4 samples. At room temperature 15??C~25??C, without strong air convection, ignite for 30min. Put out the candle. Measure the time from extinguishing the Take 5 sales packages from each batch of products. After passing the
inspection by the exit-factory inspection department, the product qualification certificate can be attached.
