Scope

This Standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules as
well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of sebacic acid for industrial
use.
This Standard applies to sebacic acid produced by cracking of ricinoleic acid. This
product is mainly used for the production of dioctyl sebacate and nylon 1 010.
