3 Terms and definitions
Terms and definitions defined in GB/T 17895 AND the following terms and definitions apply to this Standard.
3.1
Liquefied natural gas
A colourless fluid under liquid situation. It is mainly composed of methane, and its composition may include small amounts of ethane, propane, nitrogen or other components usually existed in natural gas. Its quality complies with requirements of GB 19204, and it is referred to as (abbreviations) LNG.
3.2
Maximum allowable working pressure
The maximum gauge pressure that is allowed by the entire system under the working condition at design temperature, abbreviated as MAWP.
4 Installation
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 The non-low temperature portion of the entire vehicle gas system, namely the gas device behind the vaporizer, shall be installed and tested according to GB/T 19240. 4.1.2 The installation of LNG vehicle special equipment shall be carried out according to approved design drawings and technical documents.
4.1.3 It shall check and inspect LNG special equipment before installation, mainly including whether the specification matches it or not, whether the parts are complete and intact or not, and whether the labelling is clear or not, and so on. Among them, the integrity of the special equipment and technical conditions for each part shall comply with requirements of QC/T 755.
4.1.4 All equipment components shall be installed firmly; they shall not be loose and fall off for vibration bumps; the installation and maintenance shall be easy.
4.1.5 The strength of the vehicle-carrying part shall be fully considered in the installation of special equipment; there shall be strengthen measures for installation location with poor strength. The installation method that will reduce the strength and stiffness of the vehicle-carrying part is not allowed to use; the special equipment is not allowed to be used as vehicle-carrying part.
6.3.2 When the system has reached normal operating pressure, carry out leak testing to the liquid-filled pipeline.
6.3.3 When using liquid nitrogen in cold test, it shall vent the air from vaporizer?€?s outlet; fully cool down the pipeline and components BETWEEN the LNG gas cylinder AND vaporizer; then conduct the leakage test. If it is carried out together with vehicle trial run, then start the engine; fully cool down the pipeline and components BETWEEN the LNG gas cylinder AND vaporizer; conduct thee leakage test.
7 Blowing and cleaning of pipeline system
After the installation of pipeline system, blowing and cleaning shall be done to the pipeline in accordance with relevant provisions of GB 50235.
8 Mark
The mark of LNG automobile shall comply with provisions of GB/T 17676.
Annex A
(Normative)
Pipeline pressure test
A.1 Pressure test must be done to vehicle?€?s LNG gas cylinder before it leaves the factory, and there shall have test report. Therefore, if not necessary, the LNG gas cylinder may be excluded from the pressure test of vehicle LNG special equipment.
A.2 Pipeline pressure test includes strength test and leak test, which shall be carried out in accordance with relevant provisions of GB 50235. The pipeline strength test is usually carried out in the new vehicle?€?s type test. If there is no special requirement in normal production of vehicles, it may be exempted.
A.3 It may adopt any of the following methods to do pipeline leak test. A.3.1 Liquor epispastics inspection method
In inspection, it shall use neutral liquor epispastics; coat the liquor epispastics onto the surface of the entire tested inspection part; observe it for at least 1 minute; there shall be no bubbles in the inspected area. After inspection, it shall clean the liquor epispastics at the inspected location to avoid corrosion of system components.
A.3.2 Detector inspection method
Use suction-type explosion-proof combustible gas detector of which the accuracy is not less than ??5%FS, and the alarm point is 25 ppm (10-6), to detect the connection of each interface; there shall have no leak alarm.
Before detection, clean the residual oil or sealant at the inspected location to avoid that the detector is interfered by the non-natural gas or tracer gas. The inspection shall be carried out in windless condition.
