Foreword
This Standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/T 20290-2006 “Electric dishwashers for household use -
Methods for measuring the performance”.
The main differences between this Standard and GB/T 20290-2006 are as follows.
- GB/T 20290-2006 is identical to IEC 60436.2004, while this Standard is equivalent
to IEC 60436.2012;
- ADD IEC 62301 in Clause 2 as a normative reference;
- ADD 3.16, definition of off mode, 3.17, definition of left on mode and 3.18, definition
of delay start mode in Clause 3;
- REVISE reference dishwasher annex in 5.1;
- In Clause 6 “Cleaning performance”. revise 6.4.1.2 “Conversion”, 6.4.1.3 “Pre-
heating the microwave oven” and “Figure 1 Position of the glasses on the
microwave turntable” in 6.4.1.5 “Cooking process”;
- REVISE the relevant contents of Annex A (informative) “Place settings and serving
pieces”;
- DELETE Annex B (normative) “AHAM-type load”;
- ADD Annex E (informative) “Addresses of suppliers”;
- REVISE the relevant contents of Annex F (normative) “Microwave oven and
through-circulation thermal cabinet”;
- ADD Annex M (normative) “Description of the reference machine (Type 2)”;
- ADD Annex N (normative) “Additional aspects of the energy consumption of
dishwashers”;
- ADD Annex O (informative) “Chinese standard tableware specifications”.
This Standard uses the re-drafting method to modify IEC 60436.2012 (Ed 3.2) “Electric
dishwashers for household use - Methods for measuring the performance”.
The differences between this Standard and IEC 60436.2012 are.
- DELETE AHAM DW-1.2003. Performance testing methods for household electric
dishwashers in Clause 2, the reason is that the AHAM-type load is deleted in this
Standard;
- DELETE Annex B (normative) AHAM-type load, the sequence number of other
annexes is adjusted in turn, and add the Annex O (informative) “Chinese standard
tableware specifications” at the end, putting forward relevant requirements for
domestic standard test tableware.
