Scope

This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods,
inspection rules and packaging, transportation and storage of bone meal, meat and
bone meal for feedstuffs.
This Standard applies to bone meal for feedstuffs made from animal bones by high
pressure steam sterilization or degumming and crushing, and meat and bone meal for
feedstuffs made from animal waste tissues and bones by cooking, degreasing, drying
and crushing.
