Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules provided in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard serves as a replacement of GB/T 18813-2002 Transformer Copper Strip. In
comparison with GB/T 18813-2002, the main changes are as follows:
---The code representation for alloys is added;
---Strip with a thickness > 2.5 mm ~ 3.0 mm and a width  610 mm is added;
---The width range of the strip is modified: for strip with a thickness 0.1 mm ~ < 0.5 mm,
the width is modified from 600 mm into 610 mm; for strip with a thickness 0.5 mm ~
2.5 mm, the width is modified from 1,000 mm into 1,050 mm;
---The allowable deviation of the thickness of the strip becomes more rigorous;
---The stipulation of burrs on the cutting-edge of the strip becomes more rigorous;
---The stipulation that “chemical composition analysis shall be conducted in accordance
with the stipulations of YS/T 482” is added;
---The stipulation that “the inspection of overall dimensions of the strip shall be conducted
in accordance with the stipulations of GB/T 26303.3” is added;
---The stipulation that “specimen preparation shall be conducted in accordance with the
stipulations of YS/T 815” is added;
---The stipulation that “sampling method shall comply with the stipulations of YS/T 668”
is added.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee 243 on
Nonferrous Metals of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 243).
