4.2 Withstand test
4.2.1 The withstand test shall be carried out for the completed vessel according to
requirements of the drawing.
4.2.2 Two inspection-qualified pressure gauge with the same measurement range
shall be used in the withstand test. Its measurement range shall be 1.5times~3times
of the test pressure (2 times is appropriate); its accuracy and dial diameter shall not
be less than Grade 1.6 and 100mm respectively.
4.2.3 Hydraulic pressure test
4.2.3.1 Generally, water with chloride ion content no greater than 25 mg/L shall be
adopted in the hydraulic pressure test. Where necessary, other liquid unable to cause
hazard may also be adopted. During the test, the temperature of the liquid shall be
below its flash point or boiling point. And after the test, water stain (or other liquid) shall
be cleared off.
4.2.3.2 The temperature for the hydraulic pressure test shall be in accordance with
requirements of the drawing.
4.2.3.3 During the liquid filling, gas in the tank shall be exhausted and the external
surface of the inner vessel kept dry. During the test, the pressure shall be increased
slowly. After reaching the test pressure, it shall be maintained for at least 30 min; then
is reduced to the design pressure and maintained at this value long enough for
inspection. During the inspection, the pressure shall remain constant, but shall not be
maintained by continuous pressurization. In the process of hydraulic pressure test,
fastening bolt shall not be pressed or any external force shall not be applied to the
pressure parts.
4.2.3.4 As for the hydraulic pressure test, the inner vessel shell complying with the
following requirements is regarded as qualified.
a) It is free from leakage and visible deformation as well as abnormal noise in the
test;
b) As for the inner vessel shell fabricated from the material with specified value
lower limit (Rm) of the tensile strength no less than 540MPa, no crack is found in
its surface non-destructive testing at random.
4.2.4 Pneumatic test
4.2.4.1 The tank with residual test liquid shall not be allowed due to the structure,
support or medium; and the inner vessel may be adopted according to requirements
requirements of the drawing.
4.4.2 During the test, all pipeline and pipe orifices shall be closed except the liquid
inlet and exhaust outlet.
4.4.3 During the test, the inner vessel and pipeline shall be fully soaked by liquid
nitrogen.
4.4.4 After the cold shock test, its inspection items and requirements shall meet those
specified in the drawing.
4.5 Volume determination
4.5.1 Total volume determination, effective volume determination and vacuum
interspace volume determination shall be carried out with the inner vessel; and the
determination methods are in accordance with those specified in GB/T 18443.8.
4.5.2 The inner vessel with residual test liquid shall not be allowed due to the
structure or medium; while the measured volume may be replaced by the volume
calculated through geometrical-measured dimension.
4.6 Helium mass spectrum leak detection
4.6.1 Helium mass spectrum leak detection is carried out with the relevant weld and
joint according to requirements of the drawing.
4.6.2 After the outer shell and inner vessel are well assembled, generally, the helium
mass spectrum leak detection shall be carried out one by one.
4.6.3 In case of any leakage, repairing shall be carried out for a second helium mass
spectrum leak detection.
4.7 Vacuum degree measurement
The measurement method of the sealing-off vacuum degree is in accordance with
those specified in GB/T 18443.2.
4.8 Leak rate measurement for vacuum insulation layer
The measurement method of the leak rate for vacuum insulation layer is in accordance
with those specified in GB/T 18443.3.
4.9 Leak-outgassing rate measurement for vacuum insulation layer
The measurement method of the leak-outgassing rate for vacuum insulation layer is in
accordance with those specified in GB/T 18443.4.
4.10 Static evaporation rate measurement
The measurement method of the static evaporation rate is in accordance with those
specified in GB/T 18443.5.
4. 11 Holding time measurement
The measurement method of the holding time is in accordance with those specified in
GB/T 18443.7.
4.12 Safety accessory test
The safety accessory performance test shall be carried out according to the
corresponding standard requirements and the test report be provided with.
4.13 Other test
4.13.1 The appearance quality inspection shall be conducted by visual method.
4.13.2 As for the overall dimensions, at least the outer diameter, total height (length),
support layout dimension shall be measured.
5 Inspection Rules
5.1 Inspection classification
The inspection consists of delivery inspection and type test.
5.2 Delivery inspection
5.2.1 One-by-one inspection shall be carried out and only after all the products are
qualified, they may be delivered.
5.2.2 The delivery inspection items shall be in accordance with those specified in
Table 1.
