Scope

1.1 This part specifies the basic fabrication requirements of static vacuum insulated
cryogenic pressure vessel (hereinafter referred to as "cryogenic vessel").
1.2 This part is applicable to the cryogenic vessel in the following scope.
1.2.1 Operating pressure is greater than or equal to 0.1MPa (static pressure of liquid
column), and arithmetic product of operating pressure and geometric volume is greater
than or equal to 2.5MPa·L.
1.2.2 Inner vessel and outer shell are steel structure.
1.2.3 Cryogenic vessel with vacuum insulation, vacuum powder insulation, vacuum
fiber insulation or high vacuum multilayer insulation.
1.3 This part is inapplicable to the cryogenic vessel in the following scope.
1.3.1 Spherical cryogenic vessel.
1.3.2 Piled up insulated cryogenic vessel.
1.3.3 Movable type cryogenic vessel.
1.3.4 Cryogenic vessel with storing normal boiling point lower than -19℃.
1.3.5 Cryogenic vessel with specific requirements for military purpose.
