Category
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the general rules, technical requirements, inspection,
detection and test requirements, random documents, markings, packaging,
transportation and storage of amusement rides fairy train category.
This Standard is applicable to the amusement rides fairy train category.

5.2.2 The design of mechanical transmission structure shall be convenient for
disassembly, assembly and maintenance.
5.2.3 A large fillet transition shall be adopted at the axle step to reduce stress
concentration.
5.2.4 The design of the main components of the drive system shall meet the
requirements for use during the life cycle.
5.2.5 Welds with higher stress shall be ground to make the transition smooth.
5.2.6 Welding structure shall be treated to eliminate welding stress after assembly
welding.
5.2.7 Train oil pipes and hoses shall be neatly arranged, reasonably distributed, fixed
and reliable; and there shall be no oil or gas leakage.
5.2.8 Train hard pipes and hoses shall be neatly arranged; pipe clamps shall be
reasonably distributed; and there shall be no overpressure or over-curving at the bends.
5.2.9 For connecting hoses with relatively moving parts, the length of the hoses shall
be moderate; the bundles shall be strong; and they shall not rub against each other.
5.2.10 The arrangement of various pipe joints is reasonable and easy to repair.
5.2.11 The hydraulic and pneumatic systems shall be able to be used normally within
the allowable operating temperature range of the fairy train.
5.2.12 In the hydraulic or pneumatic systems, there shall be an overpressure protection
device that does not exceed 1.2 times the rated working pressure; and the instrument
that monitors the working conditions of the system shall be set on the driver's console
for easy observation by the driver.
5.2.13 Reasonably set the braking rate of each carriage to prevent insufficient braking
force or sliding. Under the rated load and rated speed, the emergency braking distance
shall be no greater than 8m at any position in the entire running line.
5.2.14 The emergency braking device shall adopt a fail-safe braking mode; and the
train shall adopt both electrical braking and mechanical braking at the same time. The
mechanical brake shall ensure that the brake is effective in the unexpected situation
of power supply interruption or electrical brake failure to make the train stop safely.
5.2.15 Each carriage shall be equipped with an independent braking device. When a
train carriage is accidentally separated, emergency braking shall be implemented
immediately to ensure that the separated train carriage is automatically braked.

5.2.30 Rail seams shall be set reasonably according to the different meteorological
conditions in various places.
5.2.31 At the track joints, the mismatch of the high-low and left-right of the inner side
of the two track surfaces shall be no more than 2mm.
5.2.32 The track surface shall be farsighted and smooth; and the track direction shall
be straight and smooth; and the curve shall be round and smooth.
5.2.33 Standard products should be selected for rail turnouts. According to the
reasonable configuration of wheel-set tread and track type; the reversing action of the
turnout shall be safe and reliable. The train can pass after the reversal is in place to
ensure the safe and stable operation of the train.
5.2.34 600mm, 762mm, 1000mm are preferred for the gauge.
5.2.35 The gauge shall conform to the design; the allowable tolerance of the straight
section (after the curve section is widened) is -3mm~5mm; and the change rate of the
gauge tolerance of the transition section shall not exceed 5/1000.
5.2.36 The radius of curvature of the track shall be adapted to local conditions and
selected reasonably; the connection of each curved track shall be smoothly
transitioned to make the train run smoothly.
5.2.37 The important shafts (pin shafts) and important weld seams of the amusement
rides fairy train category shall be subjected to non-destructive testing. Non-destructive
testing methods and requirements shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T
34370. See Appendix A for examples of common important shafts (pin shafts) and
important weld seams.
5.3 Riding system
5.3.1 Each carriage should be marked with the fixed number of personnel, and
overload operation is strictly prohibited.
5.3.2 The train body shall be equipped with a frame-fulcrum and a crane-fulcrum. The
train body shall have sufficient rigidity and strength during maintenance or accident
lifting.
5.3.3 The height of the carriage seat from the pedal shall be no greater than 450mm;
the seat shall be made of soft, wood or fiberglass and other materials.
5.3.4 Where passengers can reach, no exposed sharp edges, sharp corners, burrs
and dangerous protrusions are allowed.
b) Outdoor exposed current collectors shall take waterproof measures or have a
waterproof function to meet the requirements for use under exposed conditions.
5.4.3 The power generation compartment (battery compartment), power distribution
cabinet, and traction motor shall have ventilation and heat dissipation design
calculations to ensure that the temperature rise of the traction generator (battery pack),
traction motor, and controller meets the requirements.
5.4.4 When there are multiple trains running simultaneously on the fairy train track, a
buffer device and an anti-collision protection device shall be provided.
5.4.5 The electrical system shall be equipped with various protective devices related
to the safety of operation of the main unit.
5.4.6 The insulation class of wires and cables shall be consistent with the working
voltage.
5.4.7 The wiring of electrical equipment shall meet the requirements of TB/T 1759.
5.4.8 The electrical cabinet shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7251.1.
5.4.9 The enclosure protection of electrical equipment shall meet the requirements of
GB/T 4208-2017.
5.4.10 The electrical system shall be able to control the transmission system, running
system, braking system, hydraulic system and pneumatic system. It should have
interlocking protection and alarm functions.
5.4.11 The grades and specifications of all instruments shall meet the design
requirements. The instrument shall be in the zero position before being used; and the
measured value shall be within 20% ~ 95% of the instrument range.
5.4.12 The primary and secondary windings of the rectifier transformer used for track
power shall be insulated with a level equivalent to double insulation or reinforced
insulation. The insulation resistance between the primary and secondary windings of
the transformer shall be no less than 7MΩ. The insulation resistance between the
transformer winding and the metal casing shall be no less than 2MΩ.
5.4.13 The insulation resistance between the rail and the conductive rail shall be no
less than 0.1MΩ.
5.4.14 The cable (wire) connection between the carriages shall adopt safe and
waterproof plugs and the connection shall be reliable.
5.4.15 The power distribution cabinet with a rated voltage greater than the safe voltage
shall not be installed in an area accessible to passengers in the carriage; and it shall
take safety isolation measures.
f) The energy storage unit shall be equipped with a management system to monitor
voltage, current, temperature, capacity and other parameters in real time.
5.4.20 The tractor of electric powered fairy train should be equipped with resistance
braking device or feedback braking device, etc. The electric braking performance shall
meet the design requirements.
5.4.21 The operation panel in the driver's cab of the electric powered fairy train shall
be able to display the remaining battery power.
5.5 Emergency rescue
5.5.1 Evacuation passages shall be set up in restricted areas; when set on both sides,
the width of each side should be no less than 0.8m; when set on one side, the width
should be no less than 1.1m.
5.5.2 The fairy train shall have a reliable rescue plan.
5.6 Surface protection
5.6.1 Appropriate surface protection measures shall be taken for metal structures, such
as taking anti-rust paint, hot (dip) galvanizing, etc., or stainless-steel materials.
5.6.2 When using anti-rust paint for surface protection of metal structures, the metal
structure shall be de-rusted before painting to reach the Level-Sa2 in GB/T 8923; the
structures other than the main stressed structure shall reach Level-Sa2 or Level-St2
(manual de-rusting). The paint surface shall be uniform, fine, bright, complete and
consistent in color. There shall be no defects such as roughness, missing paint, wrong
paint, wrinkles, pinholes, and severe sagging. It is recommended that the total
thickness of the paint film shall be no less than 80μm. The paint film adhesion shall
meet the quality requirements of Grade-1 specified in GB/T 9286-1998.
5.6.3 When using hot (dip) galvanizing for surface protection of metal structures, the
hot (dip) galvanizing layer shall meet the requirements of GB/T 13912.
5.7 Complete machine
5.7.1 The appearance of the complete machine shall be in good condition and not
damaged.
5.7.2 The static parameters such as the operating height, the number of loading
people/cars, and the number of vehicles in the main technical parameters shall meet
the design requirements. The dynamic parameters such as the operating speed shall
be tested under normal operating conditions such as no-load, full-load, and partial load
allowed for the use; the deviation between the measured value and the designed and
calculated value of the dynamic parameters shall be -10%~5%.
a) Inspection time and location;
b) Equipment name, number, main technical parameters;
c) Inspection basis;
d) The name, requirements, methods, results of the inspection items; and signature
of test personnel;
e) Inspection conclusion;
f) Preparation, review and approval of the inspection report; and the signature of
the reviewed personnel.
6.1.9 The manufacturer shall keep product inspection reports and related records,
drawings, quality certification documents and technical documents.
6.2 Machinery and structure
6.2.1 The inspection and detection of machinery and structure shall be carried out
before and after the test. The contents of the inspection and detection shall at least
include the foundation, steel structure, mechanical transmission parts, important weld
seams, important shafts (pin shafts), important bolt connections, etc.
6.2.2 The amusement rides fairy train category is operated at the maximum rated
speed under the maximum full load and partial load allowed by the design; and the test
is no less than 5 times under each working condition. The mechanical structure and
transmission mechanism shall be free of obvious shaking, slipping, stalling, noise,
permanent deformation, etc.
6.2.3 For the deceleration brake device test, respectively under no-load, partial load,
full-load conditions and fault conditions that are allowed by the design, the test is no
less than 3 times under each condition. The brake device shall be balanced, effective;
while the braking distance shall meet the requirements of this Standard.
6.2.4 For the fail-safe brake device test, under the allowable maximum full-load and
partial load conditions, the test the fail-safe brake device 3 times; while the brake
