1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of the acidity of acrylate esters
for industrial use.
This standard applies to the acidity determination of acrylate esters products for
industrial use.

3 Summary of method
The sample is mixed with an equal volume of ethanol and titrated with standard sodium
hydroxide solution, using phenol as an indicator.
4 Reagents
The reagents and water, which hare used in this standard, use analytical reagents and
grade-3 water in GB/T 6682, unless otherwise specified.
The standard solutions, preparations, products, which are used in this standard, shall be
prepared in accordance with GB/T 601 and GB/T 603, unless otherwise specified.
4.1 Ethanol.
4.2 Standard titration solution of sodium hydroxide: c(NaOH) = 0.05 mol/L.
