Scope

This Part of GB/T 17418 specifies a method for determining platinum group elements in
geochemical samples by nickel sulfide fire assay-inductively coupled plasma mass
spectrometry (ICP-MS).
This Part is applicable to the determination of platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, osmium,
and ruthenium in geochemical samples.
