Scope

Freshly distilled water, or water of at least equivalent purity prepared by other means.
Boil the water in a chemically resistant glass container for 5 ~ 10 minutes, then allow it to cool.
After cooling, the water shall be protected from contact with air through a tube containing soda-
asbestos or a similar device. It should be immediately used and stored for no longer than 30
minutes.
