This Part belongs to Part 3 of GB/T 14048.
This Part was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Part replaced GB/T 14048.3-2008 Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear - Part
3: Switches, Disconnectors, Switch-Disconnectors and Fuse-Combination Units.
Compared with GB/T 14048.3-2008, this Part has the major technical differences as
follows:
--- Delete the definitions of “(mechanical) switch, switch-disconnector, multi-contact
system, (mechanical switchgear) dependent manual operation, (mechanical
switchgear) independent manual operation, (mechanical switchgear) energy-
storage operation” from Clause 2 “Terms and Definitions”; directly refer to IEC
60947-1 for the above-mentioned definitions; additionally, add new terms of
“switch-fuse, fuse-switch, disconnector-fuse, fuse-disconnector, switch-
disconnector-fuse, and fuse-switch-disconnector”, which are divided into single-
opening and double-opening ones; add corresponding terms and definitions
under each Clause:
--- Modify Table 1 “Summary of Equipment Definitions”; add the relevant definitions
and graphical symbols;
--- Add 4.8 “Co-ordination with short circuit protective devices (SCPD)”;
--- Delete 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 7.1.3, 7.1.4, 7.1.5 from “7.1 Constructional Requirements”;
the relevant contents can directly refer to IEC 60947-1. Modify sub-clause
number of 7.1.6 into 7.1.7; delete 7.1.6.2 and 7.1.6.3; modify sub-clause number
of 7.1.8 into 7.1.9;
--- Add 7.2.1.2 “limits of operation of power operated equipment”, 7.2.1.3 “limits of
operation of under-voltage relays and release”, and 7.2.1.4 “Limits of operation
of shunt release”;
--- Add Note c, d to Table 3;
--- Modify 7.3.1, 7.3.2, 7.3.2.1, 7.3.2.2, 7.3.3.1; the relevant contents can directly
refer to IEC 60947-1; modify Table 6;
--- Delete 8.2.5.2 “Method of Test” and 8.2.5.3 “Condition of Equipment during and
after test”; the relevant contents shall directly refer to IEC 60947-1;
--- Add footnote 2) to a) of 8.3.2.1.3; the original text of IEC only specifies the power
factor; due to the test requirements for DC products, this Part supplements the
time constant requirements;
--- Add f) to 8.3.2.1.3 “simplified test procedure”;
--- Modify 8.3.3.1 “Temperature-rise”; 8.3.3.3.1 “connecting and breaking capacities,
test values and conditions”; and relevant provisions of 8.3.3.5 “leakage current”;
--- Delete Paragraph 3 “If a three-pole operated switch of fundamentally the same
design has been successfully tested, it is deemed to satisfy the requirements of
this annex for an individually operated three pole device.” from C.1 “General”.
--- Add normative Annex D “switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and
fuse-combination units for use in photovoltaic (PV) d.c. applications”.
This Part uses translation method to equivalently adopts IEC 60947-3:2015 (Edition
3.2) Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear - Part 3: Switches, Disconnectors,
Switch-Disconnectors and Fuse-Combination Units.
