This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces GB/T 12548-1990 Motor vehicles - Speedometer and odometer - Calibration method. Compared with GB/T 12548-1990, the main
technical changes are as follows.
- re-arranged the normative references according to the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2009;
- modified ?€?test conditions?€? and added 3.2 ?€?vehicle conditions?€?;
- deleted test method for ?€?wheel rolling radius?€?;
- deleted 4.1 ?€?calibration method for odometer?€? and 4.2 ?€?calibration method for speedometer?€?;
- modified Annex A ?€?Speedometer, odometer inspection calibration
recording table?€?.
