This Part of GB/T 11446 specifies the test method, for the determination of trace metals copper, zinc, nickel, iron, lead, sodium, potassium, in electronic grade water, by a flameless (or flame) atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Other instruments, which have comparable sensitivity, such as inductively coupled plasma/mass spectrometer (or inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer) can also be used, for measurement.
