Standard for quality inspection and acceptance of industrial
furnaces building
1 General provisions
1.0.1 This standard is formulated to unify the quality acceptance standards and methods
of industrial furnace building projects and ensure project quality and production safety.
1.0.2 This standard applies to the quality acceptance of industrial furnace building
projects.
1.0.3 The quality acceptance of industrial furnace building projects shall comply with
the provisions of relevant national standards, in addition to this standard.
2 Terms
2.0.1 Inverted arch
Masonry with concave arc or spherical surface.
2.0.2 Arch quoin brick
Refractory brick or prefabricated block connecting the arch or arch with the lower
support.
2.0.3 Open cracks
Cracks on the surface of refractory bricks or prefabricated blocks, which have a length
greater than 10 mm and a width greater than 0.2 mm.
2.0.4 Lock door brick
Refractory brick or prefabricated block that closes the last gap of a ring or a spherical
masonry.
2.0.5 Hollow brick seam
Brick joints between wet masonry without refractory mortar bonding.
2.0.6 Sliding joint
Brick joints between adjacent layers or rows of masonry, that are not allowed to be
into inspection batches, sub-item projects, subsection project, unit projects.
4.1.2 The division of inspection batches, sub-item projects, subsection projects, unit
projects for the quality acceptance of the industrial furnace masonry project shall
comply with the following provisions:
1 Inspection batches shall be divided according to the number of layers, construction
sections, expansion joints, etc. of the parts, according to the size of the industrial
furnace project, construction and quality inspection and control needs.
2 Sub-item projects shall be divided according to the structural composition or
section of the industrial furnace; sub-item projects may consist of one or more
inspection batches. When the masonry project size of the industrial furnace is less
than 100 m3, one (set) furnace can be regarded as a sub-item project.
3 The sub-section projects shall be divided according to the number of industrial
furnaces. When a sub-section project is large and can be divided into two or more
independent projects, these two or more independent projects can each become a
sub-section project or a sub-branch project. Where there is only one sub-item
project in a sub-division project, the sub-item project can be a sub-section project.
4 The unit project shall be divided according to the industrial furnace masonry
project of an independent production system. When a unit project is large and can
be divided into two or more independent projects, these two or more independent
projects can each become a unit project or a sub-unit project. When there is only
one sub-section project in a unit project, the sub-section project can be a unit
project. The division of unit projects in special cases shall comply with the
following provisions:
1) In an independent production system, when the masonry project size of the
industrial furnace is less than 500 m3, the industrial furnace masonry project can
be regarded as a sub-section project, which together with other trades or other
construction and installation projects forms a unit project.
2) Where there are several industrial furnaces in a building or structure, the
masonry projects of several industrial furnaces can be a unit project; each
industrial furnace masonry project can be a sub-section project.
4.2 Inspection and acceptance of quality
4.2.1 The quality acceptance of the inspection batch shall comply with the following
provisions:
1 The quality of the main control item shall all pass the inspection and acceptance;
2 Each sampling point of the general item shall comply with the provisions of this
4.3 Procedure and organization of quality inspection and acceptance
4.3.1 The quality of the inspection batch shall be based on self-inspection; the project
professional quality inspector of the construction organization shall fill in the
"Inspection batch quality acceptance record"; sign it before applying for acceptance.
The professional supervision engineer or the professional technical person in charge of
the construction organization shall organize the professional foreman of the
construction organization, the professional quality inspector of the project, etc. to
conduct acceptance.
4.3.2 The inspection batch quality acceptance record shall comply with the format of
Appendix A of this standard.
4.3.3 The quality of the sub-item project shall be filled in by the project professional
quality inspector of the construction organization, submitted to the professional
technical person in charge of the project for signature before applying for acceptance.
The professional supervision engineer or the project professional technical person in
charge of the construction organization shall organize the project professional quality
inspector of the construction organization and the professional technical person in
charge of the project, etc. to conduct acceptance.
4.3.4 The quality acceptance record of the sub-item project should comply with the
format of Appendix B of this standard.
4.3.5 The project professional quality inspector of the construction organization shall
fill the “Sub-section (sub-branch) project quality acceptance records”; send to the
person in charge of the project for signature, before applying for acceptance. The chief
supervisor engineer shall organize the project leaders of the supervision organization,
building organization, construction organization to jointly conduct the acceptance.
4.3.6 The quality acceptance record of the sub-section (sub-branch) project shall
comply with the format of Appendix C of this standard.
