1 Main-topic content and applicable scope
This Standard specifies the hygienic requirements and testing method for epoxy
phenolic resin coating for the internal lacquer of food cans.
This Standard is applicable to epoxy phenolic resin coating (film formed after being
overprinted at high temperature) copolymerized by polymer epoxy resin and phenolic
resin which can be used for the internal lacquer of food cans.

3 Hygienic requirements
3.1 Sensory indexes
Sensory indexes shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.

3.2 Physiochemical indexes
3.2.1 Physiochemical indexes of resin and coatings shall comply with the
requirements of Table 2.
