This Standard specifies the light distribution performance, test methods and inspection
rules of motor vehicle headlamps equipped with filament lamps and sealed beam
headlamps.
This Standard applies to various types of headlamps (excluding the headlamps equipped
with gas-discharge source) for Class M and N vehicles.
