This document specifies the technical requirements, safety maintenance requirements and determination of the same type for automated driving systems of intelligent and connected vehicles, and describes the corresponding methods for inspection of safety maintenance requirements, inspection of safety cases and validation tests. This document applies to M-category and N-category vehicles equipped with level 3 and/or level 4 driving automation systems. This document does not apply to automated parking systems.
