Scope

This Standard specifies the identification criteria for the solid waste based on the source;
the identification criteria for the solid waste during the process of utilization and disposal;
the management requirements for substances which are not managed as the solid waste
AND the substances which are not managed as the liquid waste AND the supervision.
This Standard is applicable to the solid waste identification for the substances (or materials)
and articles (including products, commodities) (hereinafter referred to as substances).
Identification of liquid waste is applicable to this Standard.
This Standard is not applicable to the identification of the radioactive wastes.
This Standard is not applicable to the classification of the solid waste.
For the solid waste identification of the substances with special solid-waste identification
standards, they are not applicable to this Standard.
