1 Scope
This Standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, minimum allowable values of
energy efficiency, evaluating values of energy conservation, test methods, inspection
rules, and labels of energy efficiency grades for the waste submersible motor-pumps.
This Standard is applicable to the single-phase or three-phase waste submersible
motor-pumps (hereinafter referred to as “pump”) that deliver various sewage, or mixed
liquid containing sand, fiber materials, manure, river silt and other insoluble solid
substances.
