Scope

This Standard specifies the fuel consumption limits for heavy-duty commercial
vehicles.
This Standard is applicable to the commercial vehicles burning gasoline and
diesel with a gross vehicle weight greater than 3500 kg, including trucks, semi-
trailer towing vehicles, passenger cars, dump trucks, and city buses.
This Standard is not applicable to special-purpose working vehicles, including
van-type special-purpose working vehicles, tank-type special-purpose working
vehicles, special dump working trucks, stake-type special-purpose working
vehicles, special crane and lift working vehicles, and special-construction
special-purpose working vehicles, etc.
