Scope

This document specifies the energy efficiency grades, technical requirements, and test
methods for turbine blowers and positive displacement blowers.
This document applies to general-purpose turbine blowers for conveying air, with a
discharge pressure (gauge pressure) of 30 kPa ~ 200 kPa, or an overall pressure ratio of
1.3 ~ 3.0.
-- mechanically supported centrifugal blowers with an inlet flow rate of 500
m3/h ~ 1 000 000 m3/h;
-- axial-flow blowers with an inlet flow rate of 60 000 m3/h ~ 1 000 000 m3/h;
-- suspension centrifugal blowers with an inlet flow rate of 500 m3/h ~ 400 000
m3/h.
This document applies to single-stage Roots blowers for conveying air, with an inlet
temperature not higher than 45 °C and a standard volume flow of 1 m3/min ~ 1 250
m3/min.
-- positive-pressure Roots blowers with a pressure rise of 9.8 kPa ~ 98 kPa;
-- negative-pressure Roots blowers with a pressure rise of 9.8 kPa ~ 49 kPa.
This document applies to screw blowers for conveying air, with a standard volume flow
of 2 m3/min ~ 200 m3/min and a pressure rise of 39.2 kPa ~ 245 kPa.
