This document specifies 10749 maximum residue limits (MRLs) for 585 pesticides, including 2,4-D-butyric acid, in food. This document applies to foods related to these limits. Food categories and determination locations (Appendix A) define the scope of application of pesticide MRLs, which apply only to this document. If a pesticide*s MRL applies to a specific food category, it applies to all foods within that category, unless otherwise specified. List of pesticides which are exempted from MRL standards in food (Appendix B) defines the scope of pesticides for which MRLs in food do not need to be established.
