1 Scope
This Standard specifies the classification and code, dimension, shape, allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, product quality certificates, etc. of the stainless steel plate, sheet and strip for pressure equipment.
This Standard is applicable to hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel plate, sheet and strip (including curl-cut steel plate) for pressure equipment with width not less than 600 mm.

5.2.4 Shape of steel coil
Steel coil shall be firmly formed to keep a cylindrical shape with as little edge curl as possible.
5.2.4.1 Tower of hot-rolled edge-cut steel coil shall not be over 30 mm. 5.2.4.2 Tower of cold-rolled edge-cut steel coil shall not be over 20 mm. 5.3 Weight
5.3.1 Weight of steel plate
Steel plate shall be delivered based on its theoretical or actual weight. Theoretical weight shall be calculated by the steel plate?€?s nominal dimensions. The calculated thickness is the arithmetic mean value of the steel plate?€?s maximum and minimum allowable thickness. See Annex A for density of steel plate.
