1 Scope
This Standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, minimum allowable values of energy efficiency, evaluating values of energy conservation and test methods for fan. This Standard applies to general-purpose centrifugal fan and axial flow fan; centrifugal induced-draft fan for industrial steam boilers; centrifugal pressure fan and induced- draft fan for power station boiler; axial flow fan for power station; and centrifugal fan for air-conditioning.
This Standard does not apply to jet fan, cross-flow fan, roof fan and other fans of special structure and special purpose.

For the purposes of this Standard, the following terms and definitions and those defined in GB/T 1236 and JB/T 2977 apply.

service range
The range of operation within which the efficiency of air-conditioning centrifugal fan unit of outer-rotor motor is greater than or equal to 90% of the maximum efficiency of the unit, when the efficiency of the fan is greater than or equal to 90% of the maximum efficiency of it; and the catalogue of fan shall give the service range. 4 Technical requirements
4.1 Basic requirements
The design, manufacture and quality of fan shall be as specified in JB/T 10562, JB/T 10563, JB/T 4357, JB/T 4358 and JB/T 4362.
