Foreword
Clause 4.3 of this standard is mandatory; the rest are recommended.
This standard was drafted according to the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB 19577-2004 "The minimum allowable values of the energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for water chillers". Compared with GB 19577-2004, the main technical changes of this standard are as follows. a) for product?€?s energy efficiency, the allowable values are modified (see 4.2); b) for product energy efficiency grade, the judgment indicators are revised; it is changed FROM COP evaluation TO COP and IPLV evaluation (see Table 1 and Table 2);
c) for product energy efficiency grade, the indicator?€?s specified values are modified (see 4.3).
This standard was proposed by Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection Division of National Development and Reform Commission AND Energy Saving and Comprehensive Utilization Division of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Energy and Management Standardization Technical Committee (SAC / TC20).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the water chillers?€? energy efficiency allowable values, energy efficiency grades, energy conservation evaluation values, test methods, inspection rules, and energy efficiency grade marking.
This standard applies to the water chillers (heat pump) using the vapour compression cycle, of which the compressor is driven by motor.

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18430.1 and GB/T 18430.2 AND the following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.

6 Inspection??rules
In a batch of products, extract a sample; test the coefficient of performance and integrated part load value. If it does not meet the requirements of 4.2 and 4.3, then extract another two samples. The actual measured values shall all meet the requirements of 4.2 and 4.3; otherwise, this batch of products is determined as unqualified.
For a single product, test its coefficient of performance and integrated part load value. If it does not meet the requirements of 4.2 and 4.3, then it is determined as unqualified.
7 Marking??of??energy??efficiency??grades
7.1 The manufacturers shall base on the requirements of this standard and the test results to determine the chillers?€? rated energy efficiency grade.
7.2 The manufacturers shall, in the documents of the products, indicate the rated energy efficiency grade of the water chillers AND the executed standard number.
