This Standard specifies the site selection, design, operation management, closure and site-sealing, as well as the pollution control and monitoring requirements for the storage and disposal site of general industrial solid wastes. This Standard is applicable to the construction, operation and supervision of the general industrial solid waste storage and disposal site that has been built, expanded, rebuilt and put into operation; it is not applicable to the hazardous waste and domestic waste landfills.
