Scope

This section relates to inject public power supply system harmonic current restrictions.
This section provides limits under specified test conditions that could produce the input current harmonics.
Harmonic component in accordance with Appendix A and Appendix B were measured.
This section applies to ready access to every public input current low-voltage distribution system is not more than 16A of electrical and electronic equipment.
Non-dedicated arc welding equipment, input current of each phase is not greater than 16A, within the scope of this section.
Relevant provisions of the special arc welding equipment is given in IEC 60974-1, this part does not involve, can be based on IEC /T R61000-3-4 or
IEC 61000-3-12 mount limit given.
According to the test in this section are type tests. Test conditions for particular equipment are given in Appendix C.
For nominal voltage is less than 220V limit (phase voltage) system has not yet considered.
Note. The use of the device, apparatus, parts and equipment and other words in this section, they have the same meaning in this section.
