Scope

This Rules applies to vehicle travelling data recorder (including satellite positioning
device that has the function of travelling record) which is installed on and used by
school bus, highway bus and tourism bus, public bus without passenger standing area,
transport vehicle of dangerous goods, semi-trailer tractor, and truck of which the total
mass is equal to or greater than 12,000kg etc. as specified in GB 7258 “Safety
specifications for power-driven vehicles operating on roads”.
Due to the changes in the law, regulations or related product standards, technology,
industry policies and other causes which may change the applicable scope, the
announcement released by CNCA shall be final and conclusive.
