Scope

This Standard specifies the dimensions, appearance, technical requirements,
test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificate of
the cold drawn special shaped steel bar (hereinafter referred to as “special
shaped steel bar”).
This Standard applies to the cold drawn special shaped steel bars of high
quality carbon structural steel and alloy structural steel with a cross-sectional
area greater than 30mm2. The special shaped steel bars of other steel types
may also be used as reference.
