Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and inspection (test) methods for the
manufacture and acceptance of AC servo motors for numerical control system of
industrial machine.
This standard applies to AC servo motors for numerical control system of industrial
machine (hereinafter referred to as motors). Other AC servo motors with similar uses
may refer to this standard.
Note. All requirements in this standard do not cover AC asynchronous servo motors; the
requirements for AC asynchronous servo motors are specified in separate technical standards.
